Meet the Staff

Missionaries

Rob and Patti Baker

Serving BHM since 2003 - After being married, Rob and Patti spent one year in North Carolina where Rob was in the Marine Corp. A pastor at heart, Rob and Patti served the local church in both Maryland and Michigan for 35 faithful years before coming to the BHM. God has blessed them with eight children and 27 grandchildren.

Kyrk and Deborah Baker

Serving BHM since 1998-- Kyrk began his work in Haiti with a background in construction and met Deborah who was working at a Christian school in Haiti. After they married, Deborah joined BHM. She currently home schools their children and helps out with other strategic planning, while Kyrk is the Director of Operations for BHM. Kyrk and Deborah have five children: Naomi, Jonathan, Rebekah, Robert, and Anna. Follow them on their blog @ www.ourlifeinhaiti.blogspot.com

Chris and Kelli Lieb

Serving BHM since 2004 - Chris and Kelli spent six years in Maryland as Chris served as a systems engineer before accepting the Lord's call to become missionaries in Hawaii. Chris and his family have recently moved to another BHM property where they will be providing summer camp for youth and retreats for churches during the year. Kelli home schools their children and helps with related projects. They have five children, Christopher, Brianne, Abigail, Hannah, and Elizabeth.

Elsa Peterson

Serving BHM since 1984 - A musician at heart, Alden, Elsa's late husband, developed a music program through the churches and local high school. After serving for several years, Alden passed away. Elsa decided to stay in Haiti and carry out Alden's dreams. She oversees the Child Sponsorship Program. She has one son, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Trey and Chelsea Salter

Serving BHM since 2011 - Recently married, Trey and Chelsea have spent the last three years working with a camp ministry in Kentucky. They are helping in a variety of ways here at BHM, one of those being in communications and public relations. Follow them on their blog @ www.salterseasons.blogspot.com

Darlene Winn

Serving BHM since 1986 - Darlene came as a missionary to Haiti in 1979 and to BHM in 1986. After a time of absence, she recently returned to the field. She works in the children's ministry, training nationals to go into their home areas as program leaders in their churches. She is also involved with Bible curriculum development for the schools, as well as assisting with the Child Sponsorship Program. She has two children and four grandchildren.

Roger & Judy Sands

Serving BHM since 2012 - Roger and Judy have been faithfully serving the Lord through a variety of different opportunities over the years. They served overseas for several years in Yap, Micronesia and have more recently been working alongside Missionary Flights International. Roger is working as the Associate Director of Operations. They have two grown son's and three grand-children.

Scott and Monica Bidwell

Serving BHM since 2012 - Scott and Monica have been involved in ministry for over a decade, seeing thousands of students come to know Jesus through the camp ministry they were involved with in Kentucky. Scott has a number of skills, ranging from personnel management to construction. Monica, within the next year, will begin home schooling their two children, Kilee and Josiah. Haitian Staff

Jean Angus

A lay preacher and church leader for over 26 years, Jean has worked in a number of businesses in leadership roles both in the U.S. and Haiti. When he retired from the business world he became the BHM Business Administrator and is the acting Administrator of the Fermathe Hospital. He has been happily married for 44 years. Jean and his wife have three children and nine grandchildren.

Dr. Jean Claude Bernard

Educated at Medical School in Port-au-Prince as a general practitioner, Dr. Bernard conducted his residency at the Fermathe Hospital. After he completed his residency, he was asked to stay at the hospital and has been here for 30 years. Dr. Bernard has received further training in surgery, orthopedics, and ob/gyn fields. He is Medical Director of the Fermathe Hospital. Dr. Bernard and his wife Suzon have three children and two grandsons.

Bricianie B. Jeudnez

Raised in southwest Haiti, Brici Jeudnez has achieved a number of different levels of academic achievement including a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and a Master of Education degree from Flet University. She joined BHM staff in 2002, and currently serves as the Finance Manager. Bricie and her husband Gregory have three children: Moise, Nathan, and Yanik.

Solect Jean Baptiste

Solect received his primary eduction from a BHM supported school. He has degrees from Bolosse Seminary and Quisqueya Univeristy. He recently completed his Master of Education from Flet University. He has worked with the Mission as a school coordinator and in 2006 became Superintendent of BHM's Education Department. Solect and his wife Viviane Rene have two daughters.

Edrice Romelus

Edrice came to Port-au-Prince for his secondary and advanced education. He has degrees from Julien Crann School of Commerce and from Bolosse Seminary. He acted as secretary for ASEBACH, the Association of BHM Pastors, for 15 years and is now Superintendent of Evangelism for BHM. He is also the lead pastor of a church in Haiti. Edrice and his wife Rachelle have three sons: Ralph, Ncanor, and Marc-Daniel.

Pastor Bertho Eugene

Coming to Christ at the age of 14, Pastor Bertho stays busy with many different events. He has been a Pastor of Gervais Baptist Church since 1997 and is the elected President of the Association of Conservative Baptist Churches in Haiti. He is pursuing two degree's, one in law and the other in education. After 22 years of marriage, he and his wife have 5 beautiful children: Berthe Mausephah, Marie Mical, Mical Bertholet, Mausar Bertheson, and Mausaire Berthoven.
