Aldine was brought to the mission hospital from an orphanage. Much of her story remains a mystery, but one thing is for certain: Aldine is a survivor.

Somewhere between 3 and 5 years old, this little girl faces major challenges in life. The doctors believe she may have Down's Syndrome or other severe complications. Yesterday, she finally sat up on her own and ate.
