Mark and Melanie moved to Haiti in 2014. Mark serves as the field director of BHM's Mountain Maid ministry and Melanie is involved in hospitality. They have three children.
Kyrk and Deborah were married in Haiti in 2001. They live on BHM's Atrel Campus where Kyrk serves as the director of the Northwest Project which began development in 2013. Kyrk & Deborah have five children.
Dennis and Sara first moved to Haiti in 2012. Dennis is deeply involved in administration at BHM's field office, and also is an optometrist. Sara is pharmacist and also works in administration at BHM's Mountain Maid ministry. They have five children and five grandchildren.
Darlene first moved to Haiti in 1979. She is involved in children's ministry and training, as well as working in the Child Sponsorship Office. Darlene has two children and five grandchildren.
Noah and Marcee moved to Haiti in 2015. Noah serves as the director of operations and also works as a diesel mechanic. Marcee is involved in communications and BHM's Child Sponsorship Program. They have one child.
Colton moved to Haiti in 2013. He serves as the coordinator of communications.
Dr. Bernard was born and raised in Haiti and is a graduate of the medical school in Port au Prince. He has served as the primary family doctor at the mission’s hospital since 1979, and has been the Medical Director of the hospital for the last 20 years. He sees patients at the outpatient clinic, performs surgery, and delivers babies. He also practices two days a week in a nearby Pétion-Ville clinic. His wife, Suzon, is head nurse at the mission’s hospital. The couple has 3 children who followed their father’s steps and became dedicated doctors as well.
Born and raised in Haiti, Jean spent several years in the United States after which he returned to Haiti to “retire”. But, God had other plans and called him to serve at the mission in 2000. He has served in many important capacities since then, including hospital administrator, counsel to the field director, and others. His current title is that of Business Administrator. Jean’s wife, Gilliane, has helped at Mountain Maid’s self help project for the past 42 years. They’ve been married 52 years, and have three children and nine grandchildren.
Bricie was born and raised in the southwest region of Haiti near Les Cayes. She graduated with an A.A. from Hesston College in Hesston, Kansas and a B.A. from Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana. She received her Master’s Degree from Laurel University. Bricie has served in the mission’s finance and accounting department since January 2002. She and her husband, Gregory, have four children.
Pastor Edrice was born and raised in the north region of Haiti in Pignon. He has been pastor of one of our nearby association churches in Thomassin since 2002, and is one of the leaders in the pastors’ association called ASEBACH. He was secretary for the association from 1997–2006. From 2006 to present, Pastor Edrice has served as the mission’s Superintendent of Evangelism. He and his wife, Rachelle, have 3 children.
Jeff Dalrymple is from Orange County, CA. He has a B.A. in Organizational Management from Masters College, and received his masters from American Military University in International Relations and Conflict Resolution. He has been the President of BHM since May 9, 2016. He is married to Kristil and they have 4 children JJ, Kassie, Katherine, and Kylie.
Baylee Pendleton is from Lafayette, LA. She is pursuing a degree in Strategic Writing & Communications from University of Louisville. She has been with BHM/Crossings since May of 2016. She is the Manager of the Executive Office at BHM and Crossings. She is married to John Pendleton.
Dan McGill retired from the US Army to attend Southern Seminary in order to pursue vocational ministry. He has served as the Director of US Operations since 2016. Dan and his wife Rhoda live in Louisville with their four children.
Joshua Reichard was born and raised in Southern Maryland. He graduated from Boyce College in Louisville, KY with a degree in Biblical and Theological Studies. He is now pursuing a MDIV at SBTS. After college he heard about Crossings through the Internship program, he was an intern for 6 months and showed interest in BHM. He is now serving as the Communications Coordinator for BHM.
Samuel Johnson was born in Jones Burrow, AR. He and his family have been apart of a nonprofit organization called Life Action, where they traveled around the US assisting the local church through conferences. He is currently going to Boyce College where he is studying Pastoral Ministry and Expositional Preaching, in order to become a pastor. He is the BHM intern and helps with many different vital aspects of the ministry.
Alesha Slater was born and raised in a small town north of Nashville, TN. She graduated from Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, TN. After college, she came to Kentucky to work at Crossings summer camps, and through Crossings she heard about and became involved with BHM in April 2015. Alesha is currently serving BHM as U.S Sponsorship Coordinator. Alesha and Scott Slater are enjoying life with their son, Nolin, who was born September 2016.
