WHAT WE DO

CHURCH DEVELOPMENT

We regard the local church as the primary element of glorifying Jesus Christ and spreading His gospel. In everything that we do we seek to strengthen the local Body of Christ in Haiti. We strive to equip and encourage Christian leaders to disciple other individuals in faith and spiritual maturity. Read more.

CHILD SPONSORSHIP

The Child Sponsorship Program began in 1983. Throughout the years the program has impacted thousands of children all over the country of Haiti. Proper medical attention, meals, and books for school are all benefits that children in BHM sponsored schools receive. EDUCATION

In Haiti, generations of families have gone without any education. MOUNTAIN MAID

BHM provides employment and other income opportunities to over 200 people through Self-help programs. It is our aim to see these people experience the dignity of providing for themselves and their families, as well as contribute to the advancement of the Body of Christ in Haiti. Read more.

HOSPITAL

The hospital ministry of BHM is based on the words of Jesus in Luke 10:9 "and heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you." It is our desire to extend the healing ministry of Christ while seeking opportunities to share His love with those in need. The Fermathe Hospital is located on the BHM campus and is staffed and run completely by Haitian doctors, nurses, and medical professionals. Satellite Clinics have also been established in order to minister to more remote communities. Read more.

TRANSLATION PROJECTS

It is our goal that more biblical recourses would be translated into the common language of Haiti: Creole. Men and women need to be able to see God for who He is and what He has done. Translating books by authors like Bryan Chapell, Mark Dever, and John MacAuthur will help the lay people in Haiti gain a better understanding of God. Read more.
